I am also CEO and co-founder of award winning Eviview, a software company that helps Pharma companies with their shift changeover and reducing downtime in their facilities. Raising some cash at the moment via the EIIS scheme to help us grow next year. Our software and customers in both companies is just amazing

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

The last year was great with great progress in both companies. Sales grew and some great names were added as clients – all international. Some clients take a long time to make up their minds and this is frustrating. One needs lots of patience. It is also difficult to find great Sales people. What works really well is that all our clients generating recurring income. We should have them for life.

What are your plans for the future?

To keep growing sales and putting our profits back in to the companies to reinvest.I am looking at succession planning for myself and planning to wind down a bit next year. I have some great people that can step in to my shoes

What will you be talking about at this event? (brief taster)

Compliance and Risks and being an E & Y finalist this year. Being in the alumina is a great honour.

The fun in starting Eviview and hiring great people.

My love of sales. My two books Sales Make and Self Make that I wrote recently. They are selling very well.

What inspired you to attend it?

I was asked to join the panel. I love sharing my knowledge with people. It’s nice to give back

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

I follow John Mauldin who gives a great view of what is going on around the world

How can people find out more about what you are working on?

I am a private person and I keep a low profile but I love sharing my knowledge with people in business, colleges and schools. Grey hairs means one has lots of stories.

I sometime post on LinkedIn if I see something interesting.
