Amazon has announced that the minimum starting pay for frontline operations employees in Ireland will increase to €17.10 per hour. The new rate, which takes effect from 27 September 2026, represents a €0.65 per hour increase and continues Amazon’s sustained investment in its Irish workforce.

This is the latest in a series of annual increases. Since 2022, Amazon’s minimum starting pay in Ireland has risen from €13.50 to €17.10 per hour — an increase of approximately 27%. Amazon’s starting rate is now €2.95 per hour above the National Minimum Wage and €1.70 above the Living Wage.

Amazon’s fulfilment centre has grown rapidly since opening in 2022. With 200 new jobs created already in 2026 alone, the fulfilment centre alone now supports over 700 roles. Free Amazon Prime membership for frontline employees
Alongside the pay increase, Amazon is introducing free Amazon Prime membership for all eligible frontline employees in Ireland for the first time this year.
