Thursday Business Showcase : OnePageCRM

By @SimonCocking

Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

OnePageCRM @OnePageCRM is an award-winning contact and sales management system for SMB’s. Applying productivity principles to CRM, it has turned complexity into a simple and focused to-do list.

How are you different?

Charts and graphs don’t close deals, sales actions do. OnePageCRM focuses on that one next action to move each sale forward. Other CRM are just databases. And while they can be well designed, they are still databases. Our pro-active approach brings your prospects to life with a built-in sales method.

Why will the company / product do well?

We have a very strong tribe of users and followers. We have 6,000+ paying customers from word of mouth only.

Where are you based, how is the broadband?, How long will you stay there?

We’re proudly based out of Galway… and staying here. Galway is one of the bast places to work and live in Ireland, and Ireland is one of the best places to live in the world. So why would we move? 🙂

When was the company launched?

2010. The idea came about the year before, but first code in 2010. See our history onhttp://www.onepagecrm.com/about

What have been your biggest wins to date?

The team are great. The culture is great. I feel a winner only when I look at the team. It’s the toughest thing to build (team and culture) but the most rewarding.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

Suffering Salesforce users in SMBs (they see our value)

Tell us about your team?

There’s about 17 of us involved. Most in Ireland but a few scattered around the globe. It’s a great place to work. Our culture is made up of: Learning, Respect, Communication, Flexibility, Frugality, Focus and Fun.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Grow!

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

iPhone, my Logitech Anywhere MX mouse and my Panini maker!

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I don’t have many wants, as all the gadgets I’ve had have merged into the smartphone over time. Maybe a magic traffic-generating-gadget for www.onepagecrm.com 🙂
