Red Nexus 5 coming February 4?

We’ve seen many leaks over the last week of a red Nexus 5 sitting on pallets waiting to be shipped. As more pictures have leaked the story has changed from being just a rumour to being something a bit more believable.

Android Police got hold of an image yesterday that claims to be an internal document from the Sprint mobile network in America, informing their employees of the release of the red version on February 4.

Things certainly seem to adding up to make this one a runner. If this does turn out to be a hoax, someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble!

Update:  The red Nexus 5 is now official and is available to order from the Play Store. You can check out our article here on how to order a Nexus 5 if you are in Ireland.
