Motorola Moto X gets price cut to £299 in the UK

The Moto X hasn’t even started shipping yet but it just got a £81 price cut in the UK. The new price brings it more in line with the the US where the Moto X recently got the same price cut treatment.

At £299 the Moto X represents excellent value for money. It makes it one of the cheapest smartphones on the market with the Nexus 5 being its only real competition.

Online retailer Clove.co.uk have the phone up for pre-order now at this price, with stock expected on Februray 3. Clove ship directly to Ireland but it’s pricey so another option to consider if you are buying one would be to use Parcel Motel.

There are still no details of any Irish network taking on the phone but with the Moto G selling well on Meteor it may only be a matter of time.
