Thankfully since last March, Ireland is no longer out in the wilderness when it comes to the Google Play Store and we can now buy hardware directly from Google.
To this point, that has meant that we could purchase both the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 but not much else. When Google unveiled some new Smart Watches running Android Wear a couple of weeks ago, we began to wonder would they be available in Ireland or would we be back to the days of buying these items through the UK.
After a wait of a few days, both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live are now available in the Irish Play Store to purchase.
