Tesla’s Model 3 is now available in Ireland

With EV’s becoming more popular in Ireland, the one car that people have been waiting for is now available to buy in Ireland. Yes, Tesla have announced that 2 years after their entry level Model 3 was launched it can now be ordered in Ireland via their online portal.

Prices start at €48,900 for the basic RWD version and €60,700 for the AWD version. Delivery will commence in July and will be prioritised based on reservation dates and configuration options.

The Model 3 is Tesla’s smaller, simpler, more affordable car. Designed and built as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, it is a critical step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Combining industry-leading powertrain efficiency, aerodynamics and chassis technology to deliver the longest range of any comparable electric saloon, and has a WLTP range of up to 530km. The Model 3’s powertrain technology has been designed for ultra-high endurance, and Tesla has proven its technology over more than 10 billion miles of real-world driving across its global fleet of vehicles.

Safety is a big issue and every car ordered comes with active safety features as standard, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning and Side Collision Warning. All Tesla’s including the Model 3 will continue to receive updates which add new features and enhance functionality over time. Premium connectivity is included as standard for one year which contains satellite maps with live traffic visualisation, Spotify and over-the-air updates via Wi-Fi & cellular.

Most importantly all Model 3 customers will have pay-per-use access to their global Supercharger network, which is reserved specifically for Tesla owners. There are more than 430 Supercharger locations along with over 3600 Superchargers in Europe and more to come. In Europe the Model 3 comes with a built-in CCS Charge Port for compatibility with third party fast charging networks, giving our customers the most charging flexibility compared to any EV on the market.
