Sky has opened up its online movie rental service, called Sky Store, to everyone so even if you are not an existing Sky customer you can now register an account and start renting. The service will work on PC, Mac and Roku Boxes and is available to start using now.
At present there are hundreds of movies to choose from with the latest movies becoming available to rent on the same day they are released on DVD. Prices range from €1.49 for older movies up to €3.99 for the latest releases.
Once you rent a movie you have a 30 day window to start watching it and once you’ve started, you have 48 hours to complete your viewing.
