Sky Ireland today announced a new fibre broadband product which will be available to 1 million homes in Ireland from January.
Sky Fibre launches with an introductory offer of 6 months free Sky Fibre Unlimited (line rental of €30 per month applies). Sky’s customers can get fibre broadband, TV and phone services bundled, starting from €59 per month.
Speeds of up to 100Mbps will be available with no usage caps in place, subject to a twelve month contract.
Introducing Sky Fibre, JD Buckley, Managing Director, Sky Ireland said: “Last year we introduced Sky Broadband & Talk becoming the first truly nationwide triple play provider and the fastest growing ISP in Ireland, so we’re delighted to introduce Sky Fibre which will raise the bar further in terms of speed, quality and reliability. It’s an important part of Sky’s continued commitment to invest in Ireland, which we’re doing through jobs, content production, and crucially through new products and services for our customers.”
From launch, the fibre service will be available to one million homes which is planned to raise to 1.6 million premises by the end of 2016. For more information on how to get Sky Fibre from January, people can call Sky on 0818 719 832.
