Servecentric enhances systems resiliency for Yuno Group

Servecentric, an Irish-owned cloud, data centre, and connectivity services provider, has announced that it is expanding capacity for Yuno Group, an Irish supplier of gas, electricity, and broadband to homes and businesses across the country. In turn, this is enhancing data storage and protection capabilities for the company.

To support rapid business growth, Yuno Group – which includes Yuno Energy, PrepayPower, Yuno Energy Heat, and Firmus Energy – wanted to migrate its data from an on-site disaster recovery (DR) solution to a Tier 3 data centre. Servecentric implemented a co-location DR solution which is securely hosted at Servecentric’s Irish-based data centre.

The solution supports enhanced site and data security, boosted capacity, and improved resiliency for Yuno Group. Servecentric’s platform is flexible and scalable in line with changing business needs and is supporting continued expansion for the company.

In addition, Servecentric provides a round-the-clock support service to the company’s employees based in Dublin and Belfast should any issues arise, which ensures maximum uptime for the group.

Michael Gallagher, Head of IT Operations, Yuno Group: “Servecentric provides a reliable hosting solution which enhances resilience and supports our operations as we continue to expand. They also provide excellent support and responsiveness, which are very important to us.”

Brian Roe, CEO, Servecentric: “This solution enables Yuno Group, a quickly scaling business, to continue to grow and innovate with complete flexibility into the future. Reliable technology has never been more crucial in our increasinglydigital world, and our solution will support the smooth day-to-day running of the business. We also deliver speedy resolution in the event of an incident to reduce downtime and interruptions and allow the Yuno Group team to focus on core business tasks.”
