Salesforce Announces Strategic Agreement with Dell Technologies

Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, and Dell Technologies have announced a strategic technology agreement. Extending the long-standing relationship between the two companies, Dell Technologies will expand the use of Salesforce’s market-leading sales, service, and marketing applications and CRM platform, which have been made smarter by Einstein artificial intelligence, to thousands of Dell Technologies employees worldwide, empowering them to deliver even greater customer success.

Salesforce will provide Dell Technologies a flexible platform to bring together sales, service, marketing and more, enabling a more unified customer experience. Dell Technologies customer contact centres worldwide will now have access to Service Cloud Einstein, integrating with the existing Sales Cloud footprint. In addition, the companies will use Dell Boomi’s leading cloud-native connection platform to rapidly move large volumes of data between the businesses.

“Salesforce is excited to power Dell’s customer success, as Michael once again reshapes the technology landscape,” said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO, Salesforce. “Our Intelligent Customer Success platform is enabling Dell Technologies to deliver a unified customer experience across all of its great companies in their sales, service and marketing organisations.”

“At Dell Technologies, we are 100 percent focused on our customers and on delivering the best customer experiences in the world,” said Michael Dell, chairman and CEO, Dell Technologies. “Salesforce is helping bring together all of our customer interactions across our family of businesses, which is huge for us, and with the addition of Einstein artificial intelligence, we can make each of those interactions smarter.”
