The Sino-European Entrepreneurs Summit will take place for the first time in Ireland on Friday 14th June 2019.
The Summit, which is organised by the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation, occurs in Europe every year, and this year, is being opened by former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London. Due to increasing trade between Ireland and China, the Organisers decided to bring the delegation to Ireland for a one-day Summit as well.
Since establishing in 2008, the SEES has brought together over 4000 delegates and has been responsible for the initiation of over 650 million euro in Sino-European projects to date.
Taking place in the Killashee House Hotel Naas, the Summit will look at opportunities in finance, agri-food and drink, healthcare, technology and education. Enterprise Ireland, Ibec and the IDA will be presenting as well as representatives from the Chinese government and industry.
Ireland organiser with SEE Summit Sandy Sheerin said, “ We are really excited to host this internationally renowned Summit in Ireland for the first time. Building new and worthwhile trading relationships is vital for Ireland in a post-Brexit environment, and China has so much to offer in this capacity.”
“This flagship event for Ireland is designed as a platform for high-level exchanges, encounters and discussions. The underlying theme of the event draws on unlocking opportunities and future trade agreements between Ireland and China”.
“I understand the delegates are really keen to meet Irish stakeholders and further the ties between our two countries”.
