Cardtrix, a new shopping loyalty app has been launched today for the Irish market. Cardtrix helps shoppers to manage and maximise the value they get from the loyalty programmes they are signed up to, in addition to instantly signing up to new loyalty programmes as they shop.
Cardtrix is designed for the Irish market and supports all major retail loyalty programmes in Ireland, including Tesco Clubcard, Dunnes Stores and Boots, in addition, to Brown Thomas, Arnotts, Easons and more.
With nearly 9 out of 10 (87%) people in Ireland participating in loyalty programmes, and the average person signed up to 4 programmes, Cardtrix is designed to help Irish shoppers get the most from their loyalty by taking the hassle out of signing up to various different programmes.
The Cardtrix App allows users to quickly add their existing loyalty cards and apply for new ones with just a few clicks, eliminating the need to carry lots of plastic cards around. The App offers a one stop shop where you can keep a track of all your loyalty balances, block unwanted email and gives a plain English account of what each programme offers and how to get the most out of each of them.
Announcing the launch of Cardtrix in Ireland, Fiachra Woodman, VP of Aimia Global Innovation Lab, the company behind the app said, “We have developed Cardtrix to give consumers a digital assistant to manage all of their loyalty programmes in one location. Ultimately consumers want less email, less hassle, fewer cards, fewer but better offers, plain English and to earn points wherever they shop. Cardtrix delivers all of these benefits to shoppers, helping them to make the most from their shopping.
At the time of launch, Cardtrix supports the loyalty programmes of 13 major retailers in Ireland including; Tesco Clubcard, Dunnes Stores, Boots, SuperValu, Brown Thomas, Eason’s, Arnotts, Debenhams, Nandos, Costa Coffee, Topaz, Applegreen and Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG). More retail loyalty programmes will be added over time.
Cardtrix is compatible with both iPhones and Android phones and is free to download from the App Store and Google Play Store.
When shopping, users show the app at checkout, scan the barcode or enter their card number manually to earn points and rewards.
