LibertyCon Europe, Madrid 2020, 6th -8th March

When and where is it on?

The event will be held at the Centro de Conferencias Pablo VI, in Madrid, Spain, on the 6-8 March 2020.

How many years has it been going?

The first LibertyCon Europe was held in Leuven, Belgium, in 2011. Since then, it has been held annually in various European cities. It was originally called the European Students For Liberty Conference, until 2016. The upcoming conference is the 9th annual edition.

What was the inspiration to start it?

Students For Liberty has been active in the US since 2008. European Students For Liberty was founded in 2011, with the purpose of creating a network for students interested in the ideas of individual liberty and free enterprise. LibertyCon serves to bring together both students and alumni from across the continent to learn, share ideas, and expand their network.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Attendees can look forward to a series of talks and debates involving our lineup of highly reputable guest speakers, with leading experts in various different fields represented.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

The conference provides attendees with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of pro-liberty ideas, particularly in terms of different perspectives on public policy, promoting free enterprise, individual freedom and innovative solutions to challenges such as climate change. It is also a chance to meet new people with shared interests or who work in the same field.
