A date has been announced for Dublin’s launch of a new platform that seeks to bring about diversity and inclusion at the workplace through the creation of a Global Membership Embassy

Dublin, 23nd August – The official launch of the newest platform for global diversity and inclusion, Diversein.com has been announced to take place in an event sponsored by KBC on Thursday, 30th August at 6pm at KBC Sandwith Street.

This global membership platform is set to mark a milestone by Furkan Karayel, Founder and CEO of Diversein.com who, as a senior software engineer, is seeking to contribute to the solution of one of the biggest issues in the world: inequality at the workplace.

According to recent studies, inequality at work is remarkably highlighted by women still being underrepresented in the C-suite, receiving lower salaries and being less likely to receive a critical first promotion to manager than men. Diversein.com is striving to address the core of this problem and be a platform to offer help and to get this issue resolved.

“The official launch of Diversein.com promises to be the moment that many have been waiting for. It provides a global membership forum for underrepresented groups. We currently have 15 Ambassadors from five different countries and our Ambassador’s Council is in charge of defining the Global Diversity and Inclusion Standards for workplaces. We offer free consultancy by experts on their fields: women in tech, ethnicity, culture, LGBT, disabilities and refugees”, said Furkan Karayel, Founder and CEO of Diversein.com

Furkan Karayel and her project have been already nominated and awarded with the Diversity and Inclusion Role Model in Business by the International Diversity Leadership Program in July 2018. The award ceremony took place last 28th July in the prestigious Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel with many diversity leaders from around the world attending.

Furkan and Diversein.com have also been nominated to the Manchester based Inclusive Companies Awards as The Best Diversity Resource and Diversity Champion in addition to the Munich based Digital Female Leaders Awards as a Global Hero.

Diversein.com is a non-profit organization and anyone interested can support this noble initiative by visiting www.diversein.com for more information.
