After many months of applications, judging and deliberating our FinTech 20 Ireland initiative drew to a close today in UCD’s George Moore Auditorium when the Top 20 FinTech Companies in Ireland for 2017 were announced.
A crowd of over 300 across the day witnessed keynote speeches from Giles O’Neill from Enterprise Ireland, Angel Investor Mary McKenna, Eddie Buckley from AIB, ex Leinster and Ireland International and current Commercial Director or Wizuda Mike Ross and Tech Visionary Investor Thomas Power.
Throughout the day there were some excellent panel discussions covering a range of topics from Investment, Talent acquisition and retention, Scaling, and Innovation. In addition to this, the award winners in our 6 categories were announced and we concluded with the announcement of the Top 20 FinTech Companies in Ireland.
Aid:Tech, AQMetrics, Leveris, TransferMate, Assure Hedge, Gecko, Ding, ID-Pal, Fund Recs, InvoiceFair, Fenergo, Checkventory, Circle, Corlytics, Currency Fair, Fire, Linked Finance, TouchTech Payments, Tola and GridFinance.
Congratulations to all of the fantastic companies who made the Top 20 list and thanks to everyone who applied.
I would like to thank all of our sponsors this year; AIB, Enterprise Ireland, Strencom & Top Tier Recruitment and I’d also like to thank Simon, the rest of the ITN team and the Digitial Skills Academy Web Elevate team who worked with us on this project.
We look forward to welcoming you to an even bigger FinTech 20 Ireland event next year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
