Ireland-based Tranzaura Group announces acquisition of UK-based Truckfile as part of major expansion in the UK fleet market

Tranzaura Group, a Limerick-based leading transport technology firm, has announced the acquisition of Truckfile, a well-established UK transport software provider, in a strategic move to expand its footprint in the fleet management software industry.

With this acquisition, Tranzaura Group significantly enhances its usage and capabilities, now hosting and managing 400,000 fleet assets daily while conducting half a million weekly safety inspections using advanced technology and multi-layered security.

Truckfile, a respected UK brand with over 20 years of industry experience, has earned a strong reputation for its high-quality transport software, serving a roster of global brands.

The acquisition includes its widely used HGV fleet and workshop management software, along with its existing team of employees, who will now join Tranzaura Group.

Additionally, its software will support nearly 500 commercial workshops across the UK, delivering state-of-the-art maintenance solutions designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

For Truckfile customers, it’s business as usual. The brand, products, and services will continue to operate independently, ensuring uninterrupted access to the trusted solutions they rely on.

However, customers will also benefit from Tranzaura Group’s cutting-edge technologies, unlocking new efficiencies, enhanced compliance, and data-driven insights to optimise fleet operations.

Shane Mann, CEO of The Tranzaura Group said: “By bringing together two leading providers in the industry, this partnership is set to drive innovation, modernise fleet management, and ensure customers remain competitive in an evolving market.

“Truckfile has been a trusted name in fleet management for two decades, offering a road-tested product that is widely adopted in the UK. We are excited to join forces, combining our expertise, resources, and reputation to drive innovation and elevate customer experience. Together, we are set to disrupt a mature market with the latest advancements in fleet intelligence and management software.”

Paul Whittingham, Managing Director of Truckfile said:

“The acquisition of Truckfile by the Tranzaura group of companies marks an exciting chapter in Truckfile’s journey. Over past eighteen years we have been dedicated to supporting our team and valued customers, while constantly developing cutting edge systems through collaboration with industry leaders.

“This exciting phase in the Truckfile journey will work to preserve those relationships while allowing us to offer a wider range of software and services to drive new opportunities and continue pushing the boundaries.”
