1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
After spending the last few years as a VC and working in private equity, I co-founded and became the CEO of Iconiq Lab. Iconiq Lab is an Initial Coin Offer and Token Launch accelerator program. We source, fund, develop and accelerate the best crypto, blockchain and tokenizable startups to their own ICO or Token Sale. We help launch tokens supported by real-world, sustainable business solutions. Iconiq Lab is a portfolio company and strategic partner of FinLab AG, a German publicly traded FinTech investor and company builder.
How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?
The last year has been hectic, as is wont for the crypto space. We spent months building up and designing the accelerator program and had 165 companies apply for it. Once we had our product, the 5 companies we selected to participate in the program themselves after we completed full-scale due diligence, we announced our own Club Membership Token Sale for our token, ICNQ. Now, we have been focusing on our token sale, and the launch of the first accelerator program batch on Feb. 18th, 2018. Our own token sale goes live in March.
What are your plans for the future?
We plan to scale the accelerator program internationally to new primary destination cities. The better a pipeline we build, and the better quality companies we source, the better investment opportunities we can create for the ICNQ token holders, who have exclusive access to participate in the presales, and associated discounts and bonuses, of all accelerator program graduates.
What will you be talking about at this event?
I will be giving two presentations… one on how to properly conduct an ICO from a startups perspective, and secondly, How to perform proper due diligence on ICO investment opportunities. I will also be sitting on a panel of judges for an ICO startup competition.
What inspired you to attend it?
I was asked to participate on the panel that judges the startups in an ICO competition at the event. I felt there was value I could bring to the panel through my insights into the space, and am overly excited to join!

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?
Honestly, I follow the community in our Telegram channel. We have a great group of active crypto enthusiasts and investors who discuss hot-button topics and keep me informed of what the crypto influencers are saying and when news breaks. They often start discussing anything before I can even read the articles myself.
How can people find out more about what you are working on?
