How to build a crypto exchange and ICO information platform, Max Ng, CryptoProfile

What is your background briefly?

I started off as a gamer in 2012 and stared cloud mining for Bitcoin. In 2014 I saw Ethereum and bought some during their ICO. In 2016 I started our private group in WhatsApp. I was their fund manager who helps to do group buying (pool funding) in secondary markets and ICOs. I have always been looking out for good projects to invest in.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

Yes. As a gatekeeper for the community, we are consistently looking for good projects to invest in, but we also see that there are a lot of problems in the crypto space too.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

We are currently having a private sale for CryptoProfile and it will finish in end dec. Pre sale is 1/1/19 start and 1/2/19 ICO (initial community offering). You can read the White Paper here too.

We are solving existing crypto issues like:

# airdrops (small amount)

# bounty hunters (a difficult task)

# project managing ICOS (forget about community)

# Ico marketers (unethical marketers)

# Investors (no incentive to support a project)

Why did you get involved with CryptoProfile?

It was because of our second whatsapp group started and a lot of newbie keep asking the same question. so we decided to come out with a media website to educate these new people. its all about our passion in the crypto space, not so much about the money.

Why do you think it is such a powerful idea?

Because it solves a lot of issues that everyone is facing.

1: Investor-holding on to our token may take up a huge amount of airdrop tokens for the project.

2: Project needs funding, we have proof of community recorded in the blockchain.

3: Traceability of funds raised without a referral link.

4: The project does not need to pay us using fiat/btc/eth and they do not have to worry about spending the money and not getting any returns.

Who is it aimed at?

Anyone. as long as they are in the crypto space or they are new to crypto. we do wish to work with regulators as well.

The site looks good, what were you aiming for when you designed it?

The main objective of the website is to educate newbies. The website needs to be clear and user friendly. We are still improving the website, but we do not see anyone as a competitor as the crypto space is still young and everyone should work together for mass adoption.

You are looking to appeal to ICOs as well as cryptotraders, the market is low in confidence at the moment, what do you think the next few quarters will be like?

After being in the space for 6 years, I have seen many up and down trends. If an ICO project who knows what they are doing they will survive, those who don’t know will not get funding as investors are getting smarter. Next quarter, there will be STOs (not fully regulated but only changing the name) and SEC will be busy clamping down on these. We are hoping to see approval of ETF and may see some action in March 2019 (fingers crossed).
