Disney+ Ireland to Launch Ad-Supported Plan in March

Disney+ in Ireland is set to launch a new ad-supported subscription plan on March 3. The new Standard with Ads plan at €8.99, available alongside the Standard and Premium plans, offers consumers more choice and flexibility in selecting a plan that suits their needs to enjoy a growing library of new TV shows, blockbuster movies, exclusive originals, and live football.

The Disney+ Subscription plans available in Ireland from March 3 are:

*Pricing applies to new customers only. Existing customers will continue to be billed at their current monthly or annual rate for Disney+ Standard (10.99 EUR per month / 109.90 EUR per year).

Disney+ offers something for everyone to watch, with a lifetime of great stories and a constantly growing library of new TV shows, blockbuster movies, exclusive originals, and live football throughout the year. From Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu, Disney+ spans everything from documentaries to critically acclaimed drama, comedy to classic animation, and general entertainment.

Recently launched series available to stream now exclusively on Disney+ include the highly anticipated second season of UK Hulu Original, “A Thousand Blows”, season three of “Tell Me Lies”, “TRON: Ares”, “Pole to Pole with Will Smith” and new international thriller from Ryan Murphy, FX’s “The Beauty”. Upcoming premieres include season two of the highly anticipated “Paradise”, the first instalment of Ryan Murphy’s love story anthology, FX’s “Love Story: John F. Kennedy & Carolyn Bessette” and upcoming drama series, “The Testaments”.

Robust parental controls ensure that Disney+ remains a suitable viewing experience for everyone in the family. Subscribers can set access limits on mature content and create PIN-protected profiles alongside the already existing Junior Mode profiles to give parents and guardians peace of mind.
