Global Humanitarian & Award-Winning Actor George Clooney to Speak at Globoforce’s WorkHuman 2019 Conference

George Clooney joins a superb line up of speakers that includes actors Viola Davis, Geena Davis and President & CEO of Time’s Up Lisa Borders.

Globoforce®, the Irish-American tech firm and the world’s leading integrated social recognition and continuous performance management platform, has announced global humanitarian and award-winning actor George Clooney as a keynote speaker at its WorkHuman 2019 conference, March 18-21, 2019, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clooney joins a lineup of speakers that includes fellow actors Viola Davis, Geena Davis, best-selling authors and WorkHuman alumni Brené Browne and Gary Hamel as well as President and CEO of the Time’s Up movement Lisa Borders.

The annual WorkHuman conference, pioneered by Globoforce, is dedicated to helping educate, energise, and engage business and HR leaders to build a more human-focused work culture. The event has grown five times in size since the inaugural event in 2015 and has featured some of the world’s most influential thought leaders and visionaries, including former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, Amal Clooney, Chaz Bono actors Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rob Lowe, and Michael J. Fox, and best-selling authors Susan Cain, Adam Grant, Shawn Achor, Arianna Huffington and Amy Cuddy.

Clooney is known for his deep commitment to humanitarian causes and has been a strong advocate of eliminating sexual harassment in the workplace, an issue WorkHuman continues to shed light on since its historic #MeToo panel last year. He founded Not on our Watch and the Clooney Foundation for Justice, showcased at the 2016 United Nations summit hosted by President Obama. In 2007, he received the Peace Summit Award at the eighth World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates for bringing worldwide attention to the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

Eric Mosley, CEO and co-founder of Globoforce, said: “We are delighted to have George on board for this year’s WorkHuman conference where he will share experiences from his extensive career – on and off screen – on how to lead, how to fail, and how together we can change the world by treating all humans with respect, kindness, and equality. The humanitarian work George undertakes embodies all that WorkHuman represents in its dedication to helping educate, energise, and engage business and HR leaders to build a more human-focused work culture.”
