How many years has it been going?
It’s our second webinar which will be hosted by Group Futurista.
What was the inspiration to start it? In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis around the world, non-essential brick-and-mortar retailers are forced to shut their doors until social distancing measures ease.
Retailers must invest in digital beyond bolting on new platforms/channels. It’s an opportunity to deliver new value through native and intuitive experiences. Furthermore, it’s a chance to get closer to the customer, in the time of need. Consumers are not only shopping more online as the lockdown progresses — but they are also using their connected devices to shop for more discounts, especially while shopping in stores.
A facial recognition feature has been launched to an app from retail tech company Ubamarket to enable customers to purchase alcohol and other age-restricted products in automated retail locations with biometric pre-approval, This means e-commerce and the digital customer journey are going to continue to skyrocket.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
Amazing keynotes,
Engaging Q & A
Interactive Panel Discussion
Networking Opportunities with similar minded people.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
To gain valuable insights from the industry experts.
To solve their queries through the Experts.
Who will be speaking?
Jonas Rensfelt-Global Head of Strategic Partnership Digital, Innovation -Dufry Group.
Alex Rubin-Digital Transformation Innovation | Product Management-Walmart
Trevor Gordon-Director – Omnichannel Retail- Sodexo
and many more.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
1)Give Feedback
Since the webinar presenter cannot see or hear you, it is especially important to share feedback through the chatbox and surveys. Type in a short phrase about the best thing you got out of the webinar, or something you expected and didn’t get. This is the best way to ensure that webinar presenters get better, and webinars become a more and more valuable use of your time.
2)Be respectful of others when asking questions
Ask the presenter if it’s OK to ask another question rather than assuming it is. You’re seldom the only one with questions.
3)Mute your audio if lines are open.
If your webinar host opens the phone or computer audio lines to audience members speak, keep your phone muted whenever you are not speaking.
