What was the inspiration for hosting it?

In our experience, many companies are not aware that there are Managed Migration Specialists like Ascend Cloud available to them to assist them with or lead a migration on their behalf. Typically, migration can be time-consuming and difficult to plan and execute, partnering with Ascend Cloud who have been migrating customers to the cloud since 2014 allows a customer/partner to access the teams’ broad range of experience and our five-step migration process.

Migrations are what we do in many forms, private to private, private to Public/Hybrid etc and we use a range of migration products/services, VMware HCX is one of them and the first migration service to be showcased. Our team has been working with VMware HCX since its first release.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

In this webinar, we walk you through the challenges faced by companies migrating to the cloud and how VMware HCX helps them accelerate their migration to the cloud without having to refactor or re-platform their applications using their existing VMware skillset.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

Our team will go over VMware HCX services which provide hybrid cloud infrastructure with an On-premises vSphere environment and a Cloud vSphere environment. We will look at the different techniques on migrating workloads and network extension service between the On-Premises and Cloud vSphere environment.
