Calum Best and CoinBurp Head to Dublin for Charity Match, August 31st

TV star and Love Island celebrity Calum Best will be joined by some of the UK’s best known celebrities as he heads to the home of the Shamrock Rovers football club, in another CoinBurp-sponsored charity match.

Calum, son of legendary footballer George Best, took centre stage last month when his team played at another charity event in Dorking, Surrey, in CoinBurp’s first sponsored football match, which attracted a crowd of 1,000 people.

CoinBurp has partnered with Calum as it works to promote its simple, easy-to-use cryptocurrency platform to retail investors in the UK and beyond.

Shamrock Rovers

For the second CoinBurp-sponsored event, Calum will be travelling to Tallaght Stadium, home of Dublin’s Shamrock Rovers.

The event aims to raise money for Tallaght Drugs and Alcohol Task Force and the UK-based charity NACO, the National Association for Children of Alcoholics.

The event will see Calum Best’s team play against a team led by ex-Westlife singer and songwriter Brian McFadden. The pair will be joined by a host of celebrities including boxers Tony Bellew and Carl Frampton, ex-The Only Way is Essex star James Argent, plus YouTube football sensations the F2 Freestylers AKA Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch, plus a host of other names from the world of reality TV and music.

Opportunity

Peter Wood, CEO of CoinBurp said he was pleased the crypto exchange was able to help raise money for charity again.

“This is another great opportunity to get out there, raise money for a good cause and help spread the word about cryptocurrencies,” he said.

“As we saw at the event in Dorking, Calum and his friends are able to draw a great crowd. We’re hoping for a similar crowd in Dublin and will be supporting the game in any way that we can.”

Calum said he was excited to once again be working with Peter and the CoinBurp team.

“This is another great opportunity to support a good cause plus help to raise awareness about the benefits of investing in cryptocurrencies,” he said.

“Crypto is an exciting opportunity and represents another way that people can invest. However, as with any investment you should make sure you do your research first and have a plan in place to mitigate the risks.”

Members of the CoinBurp team will be at the game to answer questions about cryptocurrency and trading, plus they will donate money to the charity for each person that signs up to use its platform and will be presenting the Man of the Match trophy at the end of the game.

The event is taking place at Tallaght Stadium, on Saturday, August 31, from 3pm. You can find out more about CoinBurp here.
