Vizrt provides real-time 3D graphics, video playout, studio automation, sports analysis, journalist story tools, and asset management tools for the media and entertainment industry. This includes interactive and virtual solutions, animations, maps, weather, story and video editing, compositing, and multiplatform VOD and live playout tools.
How are you different?
Our difference is in our workflows. Our products are designed to create an ecosystem where a media company has complete control over their content from the point of acquisition and creation, to managing their media, and then distributing the media live on-air, recorded, to social media or to online platforms. We provide tools for both the highly skilled media specialist and the journalist that needs an easy way to tell their stories.
Why will the company / product do well?
Our workflows have proven to be extremely successful in the broadcast media world and those same workflows also translate to new media for online workflows. The idea of putting the journalist first, allowing them to easily create stories with high quality graphics and video, without any technical limitations, then create the needed workflows for media companies to efficiently distribute that content is what most media companies of all sizes are looking for. Gone are the days of massive production crews to produce media. T’s now about getting a high volume of good stories out to as many channels as possible.

Our company was formed after a merger of several companies in 1999

Our software is used by BBC, Sky News, Sky Sports, CNN, Fox News, CCTV, Al Jazeera, ITN, Expressen, and thousands of others
What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?
We focus on the digital media industry: Live television, online, social media
Tell us about your team?
We have a team of 600 employees in 40 offices around the world to ensure that all of our customers have support, sales and training personnel that understand their unique needs.
What are you long term plans for your product / company?
The media industry is in the middle of a major evolution right now. Broadcasters are no longer just broadcasters, newspapers are no longer just newspapers, and the ease of use of media tools – like ours – are allowing a lot of new media companies to enter the market. Our goal is to provide media companies tools so that they can be ready for whatever the next media evolution will be. This includes predicting the next major change so that we are ready when our customers need us.
