Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Find My Pint is an iOS and Android app that helps people discover pubs with their favourite beers on tap.

How are you different?

We are the fastest way to find out what’s on tap in a pub and where you can find a particular beer on tap.

Why will the company/product do well?

Finding particular craft beers on tap can be hard, you would need to be tuned in on Twitter or Facebook and get lucky to see your favourite beer going on tap in a pub. We’re also receiving great feedback from pubs who we are signing up to update their own tap lists on the app. The pubs will also be offered premium features in the next release of Tap Manager (our platform that allows pubs to update their tap lists). Breweries have also told us they love the app.

Where are you based?

Dublin

When was the company launched?

July 2017

What have been your biggest wins to date?

The app has been out for a little over a month and we exceeded our targets for downloads and pub sign ups for that period. The biggest win that helped with this was appearing on joe.ie

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

Anyone who likes a craft beer or two or more. We believe the app is useful for a person who likes one or two particular craft beer and is looking to find more they might like and big craft beer fans alike.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?

We’re so early in our journey that we’d probably be the ones looking for advice.

Tell us about your team?

We’re a team of two. Sean came up with the idea. After he moved back from working in Letterkenny to Dublin he was looking for a place to get Kinnegar’s Scraggy Bay on tap. He brought the idea to his brother Barry who is a developer and they ran with the idea.

What are your long term plans for your product/company?

Since we’re an app our main goal is to keep increasing our user base. This is turn will help us sign up more pubs and bars onto the app. We’re also expanding out to different parts of Ireland and the UK.

How do people get in touch with you?

On Twitter, you can find us as @findmypint or you can email hello@findmypintapp.com
