Describe the company – the elevator pitch …
eShopWorld provides a sustainable, scalable sales technology for retailers in online global markets. We deliver global reach for retailers with access to shoppers in more than 200 countries, through a single point of integration.
Our solutions take the complexity out of global eCommerce, and allow us to switch on new markets for retailers in a fraction of the time it would take them to do it themselves. We innovate around every detail of the cross-border shopping journey, to deliver increased sales conversion, efficiencies across the value chain, and a superior experience for both the retailer and the shopper.
Through our technology, the retailer gains full control of the end to end shopping experience, and complete protection for their brand.
The retail experience is also greatly enhanced for the brand-conscious online shopper, who can engage with global brands online with the same ease as they would in their home market. Shoppers can enjoy localised pricing, fulfilment, payment options and returns service.
eShopWorld currently employs over 120 staff and has annual sales exceeding €200m.
How are you different?
Globalisation, growing internet access and usage, and the growth of middle class consumers means that there is appetite across the globe for well-known brands. Recent years have seen online marketplaces dominate the global ecommerce landscape, but large retailers have discovered that they lose control of their most valuable asset – their brand – when they sell through that medium.
They know that long term growth will come from building brand relationships with consumers all around the world, and in order to understand the shopper’s needs, they must enable a direct-to-consumer model. eShopWorld offers retailers a solution to deliver an outstanding, localised online shopping experience while maintaining control over their brand throughout the entire journey – from checkout to returns.

Why will the company do well?
What makes us different will also ensure that we deliver for retailers and consumers. Our central philosophy is that improving the shopper experience leads to organic growth for retailers, through a more streamlined ecommerce solution, greater economies of scale, increased conversion and increasingly satisfied customers to name but a few metrics.
We relentlessly innovate around every element of our solution, focusing on removing pain points and satisfying shopper needs. We work with retailers that are aware that long-term profitable growth in new markets comes from building trusting, long lasting relationships with international shoppers.
At all times, we prioritise and protect the integrity of the direct relationship between brand and customer, delivering value to retailers’ balance sheets in the form of brand equity.
