Club20/20 We bring together communities of professionals who share the same challenges, goals and aspirations. We do not have any specific industry agenda or bias, which means that you can be sure to meet all sides of your particular industry at our events. Everyone is welcome to join and contribute, and we cherish the expertise and value that our speakers and sponsors bring with them to make club20/20 such a success.

How are you different?

Our goal is to build industry communities that bring real lasting value to their members, acting as a point of call for people within them. If you have a problem, are looking for a solution, or just looking for a new job, our events are going to provide you with the support to make your membership worthwhile.

We don’t just research, we get buy in and participation of the leaders in the industry and ask them to act as our advisory board. This is how our events are different to many events in the market. We stay relevant and look to the future with massive input from our advisory board members.

Why will the company / product do well?

We spend months researching and learning about the latest developments, the most interesting innovations and ideas in the industries that we focus on. Then we bring the innovators and leading executives from the industry together to share ideas, tackle challenges and debate future developments. Each of our events has an industry advisory board. We don’t rely on ideas and gut feel, we follow the industry who tell us what they want, need and expect from our events.

Where are you based?

Central London. We work from home. Our overheads are low. This is how we charge little and offer outstanding content and value.

May 2016

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Chief Operating Officers, Chief Innovation Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Data Officers and Chief Technologists from the top 250 insurance and re-insurance companies form the advisory board and the panel of speakers and participants. Dozens of innovators will be joining the panels and debates, with some of the most senior C-level executives from the world’s largest insurance giants, as well as medium size underwriters, brokers and small companies, to explore the future impact of this technology on your business. In short, all of your competitors, partners and future employers will be at this event!
instech20/20 serves as a content and meeting place for both top established insurance companies, fintech innovators as well as investors.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are community builders. We focus on senior level experienced professionals as well as young start ups. Bringing these people together is what makes for the success of our events and our company. We get out of bed and work all hours in the day because we know we are delivering huge value to our customer and we are not ripping them off.

Tell us about your team?

We are two experienced professional ladies who have worked for someone else for 25 years. We learnt a lot, became close friends, made a lot of money (mainly for someone else) and had a great deal of fun. One day we simply decided, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and we only want to work for ourselves and do our own thing.

That was the day we started our own business – Club 20/20. We never looked back ever since. It was scary to begin with, as our families depended on us. It was and is hard work, as we work all the time and can never stop thinking about our events. But our vast 25 year experience and track record of success in conferences and events gave us huge power to research, produce and create amazing and valuable events for our customers.

We love what we do and we don’t have a plan B, so we are definitely succeeding!

We started just the two of us. We now have a team of 8 people building up to 15 professionals all working towards the same goal.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

We want to build a new generation events business and we reckon we can do that in a few years!

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Katia – I love iWatches, iPhones, Macs and all things Apple.
Gabi – Apple everything….

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

Katia – I need to learn to ride a scooter!
