Bouncing Back — Network Cork webinar to focus on business recovery

A practical workshop for business leaders on preparing for the next phase of recovery is the focus of the Network Ireland Cork live webinar on Wednesday, 15 April. Part of a series launched to support businesses during COVID-19, the Bouncing Back webinar from 8 pm-9 pm will feature the partnership of business performance improvement consultant, Susan Clancy of BPI Services Ltd and corporate leadership development consultant, Allana Brown of Allana Brown Consultancy with their four-phased Business Crisis Recovery Framework. There will also be financial advice from Angela O’Leary of AG Associates Accountants.

Registration is free for members and €15 for non-members at https://networkcork-bouncingback.eventbrite.ie.

Speaking ahead of the webinar, Allana Brown said: “Our framework consists of both the technical and leadership skills required for the different stages of crisis management, from your immediate response when the crisis hits, to preparing to move from survival to thriving mode.

“We want to prompt discussion about how to instil a thriving business mindset in attendees’ organisations and strategically plan for success, even when in current crisis mode and during times of economic uncertainty.”

Questions for the webinar on Wednesday, 15 April can be submitted in advance at www.slido.com or on the Slido app by using the event code #networkcork. The facilitator will be Maria Desmond, regional community fundraising manager at Enable Ireland. Making virtual pitches will be kinesiologist, Sheila O’Hanlon and marketing consultant, Kathy McGarry of Gravity Consulting. Tech support will be provided by Philipa Jane Farley of ProPrivacy.

Network Ireland Cork’s president, Marguerite O’Sullivan added: “Our webinar series was set-up specifically to help business owners, leaders and employees across Cork to navigate through these uncertain times. New rules are required to run and lead a business through unchartered territory, and so Susan Clancy and Allana Brown have partnered together to craft a practical framework that business leaders can utilise and adopt to help them recover from this crisis. Supporting this discussion, we will also hear from Angela O’Leary, managing partner at AG Associates Accountants.

“This get together is about the promotion of resilient leadership by providing the tools to manage current business issues, as well as planning and preparing for the next phase of recovery.”

Network Ireland Cork, a not-for-profit organisation for women in business and the arts, is the largest branch of Network Ireland in the country.
