A beginners guide to transactional emails

The Pepis are back from the most happening event hosted by TechInAsia. It was the first international tech conference held in India that witnessed 124 exhibiting startups from 6 countries, over 33 VCs and 16,000 attendees. The conference attracted entrepreneurs, investors, geeks and the tech community in full swing and the place was abuzz with Roundtables, endless networking and Startup-Investor Speed Dating.

Exhibiting our booth at the event was great fun and learning experience for us. Each of the startups present had the same excitement, anticipation and the sheer joy of presenting their startup idea.

Here’s a glimpse at the conference from the eyes of Pepipost –

  1. Deep dive into inspiring stories and good learnings
We all love the ‘How I did it’ stories of successful startups and the conference had an amazing line of speakers from the hottest tech startups who shared inspiring founder stories. The 2 day event was also filled with engaging sessions by venture capitalists and industry wizards like Infosys.
  2. Got the love and recognition
It was great honor to be chosen as the top 4 Startups from the 124 exhibiting startups by TechInAsia. Our tweets also won special mention and we were declared as the most trending booth on twitter.

All this while our mascot Pepi, the email guy delighted many attendees who took pictures with him and posted on social media.

  3. Cheering
TechInAsia announced $10k prize money for the best startup pitch. Within two hours more than 90% of the pitching slots were snapped up. We took to twitter to tweet about the battle and had fun cheering fellow startups and promoting the entrepreneur spirit.
  4. 30s pitch
We invited budding startups to present their 30 second pitch and be part of our tech community – a community that promotes mentoring and strengthens the startup ecosystem.
  5. Networking fun
As the evening set in, it was time for Night Crawl, a great opportunity where we networked over food and drinks. We met some interesting people with great startup ideas. It’s amazing how the Cutshort team is trying to connect the dots in the recruitment space with their smart algorithm and shorten the path to right jobs. The newest companies that could change the world for the better have a strong focus on technology. We loved the 360 degree automation platform of Sendx which gives a good view of customer behavior. There’s a lot to learn from these guys. The evening ended on a high note, with our discussions opening doors to new collaborations and partnerships.

In all, it was an awesome experience for Pepipost to be part of the wonderful event and share space with several talented and incredible people. Each one of us went home with stories to tell – of how a guy found his co-founder, how a bootstrapped startup got picked by an angel investor and most importantly how our startup idea got accepted.
