When and where is it on?
October 9th to 10th 2018, in Inaya Putri, Bali.
How many years has it been going?
This is the first year.
What was the inspiration to start it?
With our extensive network of international and domestic partners, XBlockchain promotes communication and collaboration, and provides an open innovation platform to connect enterprising individuals, developers, startups, established organizations, government agencies and investors who seek to foster a spirit of positive disruption in the field of blockchain.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
XBlockchain Party By The Beach, Leaders Dinner, and an invite-only meeting, called “Blockchain on the Yacht”, taking place on the Bali sea to name a few.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
An interesting “Matchmaking” opportunity:
The XBlockchain Summit will be introducing a business-matchmaking tool which a brokers meetings between all registered delegates, speakers and exhibitors with mutual interests. The service is freely available to all conference participants.
Who will be speaking?
Jed McCaleb (Co-Founder Stellar Development Foundation)
Vilius Šapoka (Minister of Finance, Republic of Lithuania)
Hon. Dharmendar Sesungkur (Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Republic of Mauritius)
Jason Hsu (Legislator / Congressman At-Large, Taiwan Parliamentary Coalition for Blockchain)
Susan Oh (United Nations’ Blockchain for Impact)
Inge Halim (IBM’s Indonesia)
Paul Sin (Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Blockchain Lab)
Chia Hock Lai (Singapore Fintech Association)
Jason Hsu of Taiwan (Entrepreneur-turned-legislator)
As well as many more.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Few international gatherings can match the depth of expertise gathering at XBockchain Summit. None can deliver the same opportunities for connection and insight that comes from gathering a mix of leaders of business, government and their future in an intimate setting.
A mix of leaders from business, government and technology will be gathering in an intimate setting without parallel in the Asian region. The two-day summit will deliver the latest insights, trend projections, conversations, and opportunities for invited guests to form new partnerships. The summit will be an opportunity to display new developments in blockchain technology, engage in debate its direction and promote its adoption.
