Right now one of the biggest things that have become popular in workplaces is health and wellness, especially if you are working long hours on a project. Companies want their staff to not be under stress or pressure and to have their mental health well-taken care off.
Workplace Wellness Ireland was founded as a network for professionals working to promote health and wellness in Irish workplaces. The group is aimed at those working directly in workplace wellness in Ireland, senior leaders and HR professionals tasked with wellness promotion in their organisations as well as anyone that is passionate about making their workplace a healthier place to be. They are running their first event next Tuesday at 6 pm in the heart of the Silicon Docks in Dublin in the Bank of Ireland Workbench Branch.
Brian Crooke will be the MC on the night and the speakers are Jim Kirwan and Caroline McGuigan. Jim Kirwan is a best selling author, an international speaker, a health and wellbeing coach and consultant who had recently returned to Ireland after spending 13 years in the USA. Caroline McGuigan is a psychotherapist, mental health advocate, group facilitator, activist and founder of the charity Suicide or Survive also known as SOS.
Our health along with a healthier workplace should be one of the top things on your agenda, as your health is your wealth and a healthy workforce and workplace is more productive. So if you are free next Tuesday and want to go along, please book here.
