When will UK and US lift Covid-19 restrictions?

When are governments going to start lifting social distancing restrictions in the UK and USA?

As debt mountains rise ever higher Governments will come under increasing pressure from their citizens to lift ‘stay at home’ and travel restrictions as the media focus shifts from saving lives to the economic damage caused by covid-19.

Will we see in the UK a partial reopening of businesses such as Garden Centres DIY outlets, Builders Merchants (to help builders to get back to work) on 27/4/2020.

Provided Italy and Spain have not seen a significant pick up in detected infections, from having started to loosen their social distancing controls, as by 27th April it will have been almost a fortnight.

In the USA will different Governors at a State level ignore Trump, (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/13/us/politics/trump-coronavirus-governors.html

)and if anything, the more he asks to lift restrictions as his needs a stronger economy to be re-elected, the less likely it is Governors will lift restrictions for now

USA would appear to be a few weeks behind UK which is recognised as being two weeks behind Italy…
