Welcome to the Dataverse – Ireland’s leading data employers come together to recruit top talent

Leading data companies in Ireland are coming together this week to participate in a major recruiting event and conference to attract skilled data talent.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Colin Donnery, CEO, FRS recruitment:

“Data and artificial intelligence aren’t just the future – they are the here and now. Ireland has a huge opportunity to become a global leader in this field so it is vital we attract the very best talent to our shores to take that opportunity. That is why WeAreData is such an important event and why FRS Recruitment is honoured to be partnering with them in organising this year’s conference.”

The conference side of the event includes keynote speakers such as Peter McKenna, Senior Enterprise & Data Analytics Manager at Indeed, Philip Kelly, Head of Applied Science & Martina Naughton, Data Scientist Lead at Zalando, Deepanand Roy, Director of Data Science at TCS Ireland and Shane Keating, Chief Data Officer at Ardonagh.

There’s also a ‘Meet the Experts’ area where data professionals can participate in informal sessions with Ireland’s top data gurus and mingle with their peers.

Andreea Wade, portfolio director – AI/ML at iCIMS, the Talent Cloud company, said:

“The iCIMS team is excited to connect with some of the greatest up and coming minds in data science at WeAreData,” said Andreea Wade, portfolio director – AI/ML at iCIMS, the Talent Cloud company. “As a business at the intersection of technology and work, we can’t wait to discuss how data and AI is helping to transform hiring for employers and job seekers and supporting diversity efforts for businesses around the globe.”

The event is being delivered by Career Zoo and The Analytics Institute and sponsored by Indeed, Zalando, The Ardonagh Group, FRS Recruitment, iCIMS and TCS Ireland.

WeAreData will take place on a fully immersive and interactive 4D platform from 11.30 am to 7 pm on Wednesday, 29th September.
