Voxpro strengthens Board of Directors with two new appointments

Voxpro, Ireland’s largest, international provider of customer experience and technical support solutions to the world’s most exciting and innovative tech companies, has today announced the appointment of two new Board members, Louise Phelan and Aidan O’Shea.

Louise Phelan is Vice President of Global Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa, PayPal. Aidan O’Shea is responsible for leading Voxpro’s management team in his role as Managing Director.

Dan Kiely, CEO, Voxpro said: “Our success to-date has been built on delivering Beautiful Customer Experience (BCX) in partnership with, and on behalf of, our clients which we do through the hard work, talent and determination of our team of extraordinary people. As part of our US expansion plans, we are delighted to welcome both Louise and Aidan to the Board of Directors. These appointments will feed into this strategy and allow Voxpro to scale internationally.”

Voxpro’s newly opened centre of excellence in Folsom, California, which will have its official launch in March, is one of many steps the business is undertaking as part of its expansion into North America.  From Folsom, Voxpro is within driving distance of their clients who are predominantly based in the San Francisco’s Bay Area, which lends well to the partnership relationship that Voxpro fosters with their clients.

Dan continued: “Louise’s senior leadership experience is what sets her apart in informing strategic decisions for scaling businesses. Her talents in growing multinational companies such as PayPal and GE, will assist Voxpro as we face into this dynamic growth period.

“Similarly, Aidan has been an outstanding addition to the Voxpro family since he joined us as Managing Director in 2014. His ability to devise sustainable, win-win, growth strategies that deliver lasting value for our clients gives him the edge in our push for growth.”

Louise Phelan was named Ireland’s ‘Most Trusted Leader’ at the 2014 Great Place to Work awards and ‘Irish Innovation Champion’ at the 2014 Innovation Luminary awards. At PayPal, she currently leads the Global Operation team in Dublin, Dundalk and Berlin, working together in a culture of collaboration, respect and innovation.

Speaking on her appointment, Louise Phelan said: “I have admired how Voxpro has completed disrupted the outsourcing industry and adapted it to suit their clients’ business needs and culture. As they continue to innovate and grow, I am excited to be involved in creating an international footprint.”

Aidan’s previous experience includes 10 years in the outsourcing industry, where he worked in senior operations and commercial roles. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors at one of Ireland’s largest outsourcing firms and has worked as a management consultant in Ireland and the UK.

Aidan O’Shea, said: “Voxpro has demonstrated phenomenal growth potential and by adding to the mix of existing skills and talents on the Board, we will be able to continue to grow on an international level. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing this stage come to fruition as we continue to redefine the way Customer Experience is delivered.”

Voxpro’s international and indigenous partners include iconic tech companies that are truly changing the world such as Google, Airbnb, Nest, Etsy, Stripe, Red Bubble and Weebly. Established twenty years ago by co-founders, Dan and Linda Kiely, Voxpro operates successfully from three purpose built facilities in Cork, together with offices in Dublin, San Francisco and Folsom.
