Vodafone Ireland today announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will be available first on their network in Ireland from December 4th.
The uniquely shaped curved edge phone has been well received in other markets since its launch and we’re certainly looking forward to trying it out.
Vodafone stores and select Carphone Warehouse outlets will have just 500 devices available this year. The device will be available in Charcoal Black and prices start from €149.99 on RED Extra Super.
Commenting on the announcement, Vodafone Ireland Consumer Director, Marcel de Groot said, “The Galaxy Note Edge provides a revolutionary new way to interact with your phone and we’re delighted to be the first Irish network to offer this device. The unique curved screen and innovative features means we can once again provide Vodafone customers with the best devices with up to the minute technology”.
Gary Twohig, Director, Samsung Ireland, “The Galaxy Note suite of products has really captured the interest of Irish users and with Note Edge we’re bringing a whole new style of mobile usage in the form of handheld curved screen features and easier notifications while in operation. With innovation heavily embedded in Samsung’s ethos, we’re delighted to have partnered with Vodafone to bring this new device to Irish customers ahead of Christmas”.
