Using Phone Bills As Payment Methods 2.0 in 2019 and beyond

Yes, this is indeed a trend that is catching on, especially for the online gaming community. Some online gaming platforms require payments to access their database of extensive games, promotional deals and other such activities. Having your credit card handy isn’t always ideal as we often don’t have our wallets on us, this is why so many adopted eWallets. But now there is an even better option for online gamers and gamblers. There are sites and online casinos which are adopting the latest trend of accepting phone bills as payment methods. This is a great concept and here is everything you need to know about it.

Phone Bills  For Payment Methods

How It Works

You will need a site which accepts this form of payment of course. Using deposit by phone bill casinos here as an example, you would go to the banking section of the online casino and if you cannot see on go into payment and deposit methods. Seek out ‘Pay with phone bill’ or something along those lines and choose this as an option. The process from there is matter of fact and all you need to do is follow the prompts.

You will be required to select an amount you wish to be credited to your gaming account. This amount will then be added to your cellular bill which you will be required to pay when your statement is due, not immediately. When you have selected the amount you would like to credit to your account, you will be requested to present some form of verification, usually by SMS or email. Upon receiving the code, you are prompted to enter the code on the casino’s site and once verified your account will be credited.

Why Its Popular

Players love convenience, and who wouldn’t. If you are gaming online and utilizing all of the convenience of the internet, why not expand and further the level of convenience by eliminating the use of personal details. The internet is fishing grounds for hackers and players are often sceptical about where and when they use their credit card and banking information. This was when eWallets became popular and most recently, Bitcoin. Now there is new competition and paying by phone bill offers even more convenience as players needn’t have immediate access to funds, they simply need to make sure they can cover their cell phone bills.

The Future of Paying With Phone Bills

The biggest industry to have adopted this form of payment is online casinos. But with the sudden spike in popularity and the ingenious idea of this concept spreading like wildfire across the internet, it’s only a matter of time before other industries adopt the trend, stealing the thunder and becoming a preferred method of banking as it is convenient, affordable and self-explanatory.

Although there are some who believe this will spike your phone bill, be that as it may, you can also set limits and cap your phone bill through your provider. So as you can see, it’s a great way to bank your deposits.
