Top Line Up of Speakers Finalised for the Main Stage at the Inaugural TechConnect Live

Over 5,000 delegates have registered so far for the largest gathering this year in the technology sector. Free registration is still open to delegates wishing to meet with like minded tech entrepreneurs and funders in one venue for one day.

Our very own Senior editor at Irish Tech News, Simon Cocking, will chair the main stage at this year’s TechConnect Live event at the RDS on May 25th. Simon has many years of experience in the tech sector covering everything from FinTech to Drones, Startups, Wearables and much more. He is also the only Irish journalist ranked in the global top FinTech 100 influencers, and recently spoke at the Singapore Innovfest unBound conference on the future of media.

The main stage is crammed with national and international speakers including top Irish VC Brian Caulfield, Luis France – Survey Monkey, , RhodeCode, Colm Lyon – Fire Financial Services, Louise Phelan – Paypal, Travis Witteeveen – Avira, Harry Goddard – Deloitte, Bill Liao – SOSventures, CoderDojo, Robert Cairnduff – 34D Medical, Silviu Preoteasa – Investor and Growth Hacker, Richard Corbridge – HSE, Denis Canty – Tyco Innovation, Emmet Savage -Rubicoin, plus many more throughout the day spread over 15 stages.

Over 200 speakers will address an audience of investors, start- ups, seasoned entrepreneurs and an array of top industry executives from leading global and Irish companies. 13 separate seminars will cover topics such as Fintech, Medtech, Energytech, Gametech, and the Internet of Things.

TechConnect-Live to Include dedicated Tech Jobs Expo – 7,000 current tech job vacancies survey reveals

TechConnect-Live will offer employers a unique opportunity to meet graduates, career professionals and supporting industry/academic associations. This year’s event will have over 1,500 live jobs on offer from the employers in the RDS on the day, both in Ireland and overseas, as well as internships, graduate training programmes and the chance to explore your further study options.
