Exaxe has been nominated for the Employer of the Year 2018.
Exaxe is an equal opportunities employer that actively seeks to increase the number of women in its workforce, particularly as it operates in an industry that is still male-dominated. In Exaxe, we recognise the challenges to women playing a full role in the IT industry and strive to eliminate these challenges.
Norman Carroll, CEO at Exaxe commented, “We are thrilled to have three members of our team in Dublin shortlisted for the Women in IT Awards Ireland. Their hard work and achievements all year deserves huge recognition and we are very proud to have them on our team. We are also pleased to have been shortlisted for the Employer of Year Award. Exaxe is constantly striving to achieve the high goals it sets itself in terms of equality of opportunity for its staff, so it is wonderful to see our efforts being recognised. We look forward to celebrating in the Mansion House at the end of November.”
Through a series of 14 awards, the Women in IT Awards Ireland will showcase the achievements and innovation of women in technology and identify new role models for the younger generation of female talent.
This year’s awards attracted over 500 nominations, which for the inaugural event is remarkable. The keynote speaker will be Group Chief Operating Officer at Bank of Ireland, Jackie Noakes. “All of the finalists deserve a massive congratulations for the achievements that have resulted in them being shortlisted for an award. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for one of the biggest nights in technology on 21 November.” commented Nick Ismail, Content Editor, Information Age.
