In a disappointing, but not unexpected announcement today, Three Ireland confirmed that they are again delaying the roll out of their 4G services until at least the end of January 2014.
Their 4G service had been originally penciled in for an early Q4 launch, this slipped to a “before Christmas” timeframe but the statement today puts an end to that. This is sure to be a cause of aggravation among their customers as Three have been far from forthcoming with information as the missed launch windows have slipped by.
It also represents poor timing for Three in the run up to the Christmas shopping period as consumers are still left with only the Eircom group as an option for 4G smartphone services.
