Elaine Carey, Chief Commercial Officer at Three, commented: “Connecting our customers to the things they love is important to Three. Music is intrinsic to our brand and delivering the best music experiences possible is fast becoming part of our DNA – whether that’s great live gigs, high-quality streaming or simply great content. This partnership with Deezer is the perfect fit for Three giving our customers access to the largest music streaming catalogue in the world. Music most definitely lives at Three. We are proud sponsors of the 3Arena, Ireland’s best live music venue, and our much anticipated 3Live immersive experience will storm this summer’s festival scene at Longitude, Electric Picnic and Punchestown Music Festival.”

Commenting on the partnership Gerrit Schumann, Chief International Officer Deezer, said: “The huge uptake of streaming services globally over the last 12 months means that we are finally entering the mainstream. Now is the right time for Deezer to fire up its relationship with Three and focus its attention on Ireland in a way no music streaming service has ever done before. Our partnership with Three means we can reach more people, in more ways than ever before.”

The Three partnership with Deezer will be promoted with TV campaigns, in 3Stores across Ireland, on outdoor advertising and through a digital campaign. The initial promotion will form part of larger long-term relationship between the two brands that will launch further initiatives together in 2016.

Three customers can start using Deezer Premium+ for free by texting MUSIC to 50202 or at www.three.ie\deezer from Friday, 1st July.
