The work environment is in constant chang, Teemu Kinos, speaking at Mindtrek, Tampere, Findland

By @SimonCocking interview with Teemu Kinos, who will be speaking a MindTrek this week.

MindTrek returns September 20th/21st, 2017, Tampere, Finland

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

We help companies communicate with their customers and staff better and more efficiently with the help of automation. Our platform enables people to easily build and deploy chatbots in various messaging and communication channels. Our technology is open sourced conversational engine that includes everything from NLP up to chat API’s. Our solution supports up to 50 languages. We have built two products on top of our conversational engine: A chatbot solution that will automatically answer questions in the frontline and a Smartlayer, an agent side bot, which helps customer service and service desk organizations increase their efficiency by providing their agents answer suggestions to customer questions.

How was the last 12 months, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

We started from enterprise sales and now we are moving on to SMB’s. The reason for this is that Enterprise sales cycles are quite long. Our platform will enable companies of all size to build and deploy chatbots for various channels without technical skills.

What are your plans for the future?

Now we are focused on building the platform and the SaaS delivery model of our service.

What will you be talking about at Mindtrek?

The work environment is in constant change. Everyday people should be asking themselves “Is this my work or do I just think this what I should do?”. Technology helps people to focus on meaningful tasks. Our angle is that having an open source technology for conversation is the only way this technology will be available for everyone.

What inspired you to attend it?

I felt that it would be a good time to start spreading the word and once I saw the Open source track, I was sold.

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

Techcrunch, Producthunt and other tech blogs that focus on open source technology

How can people find out more about what you are working on?

They can go to www.getjenny.com or reach directly to me at teemu@getjenny.com
