The Pillar Project announces summer unconference in Vilnius

What was the inspiration to start it?

We had an amazing unconference last year, people were learning in classrooms until 1 in the morning all by themselves! Now we want to take our community energy up to the next level. As we are starting a development office in Vilnius, and we have the opportunity to take over an entire resort there, we are going to bring the Pillar magic to Lithuania.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

This year’s unconference will focus on business, entrepreneurship, blockchain coding, and e-commerce business owners who want to build their businesses on the Pillar wallet platform. Entrepreneurs and Pillar pioneers will explore opportunities to be the first in their categories of interest. David Siegel, CEO and founder of the Pillar Project, will give his famous “Business Agility Workshops” with lectures and exercises on startups, ICOs, self-management, decision science, and tokenomics, as well as his vision on the future of the Pillar wallet.

The unconference will also have a ‘devcon’ track for blockchain and smart contract developers to meet, collaborate, and showcase their latest work and insights.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

This is a great chance to come share and work with some of the best minds in the blockchain industry. We expect many people to offer talks, workshops, and discussions – it will be more organic and probably more impactful than most other blockchain events.

There’s no agenda. Don’t worry. You’ll love it. Amazing people will turn up. You may be inspired to give a talk and become famous.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Bring your energy, your inquisitiveness, and your knowledge. Balance all the amazing opportunities with a chance to relax, play golf, enjoy Lithuania, and be social.

Yes! We’re going to St Petersburg immediately after for 4 nights. This is one of the most incredible cities in the world. We strongly encourage people to attend this extra trip, but hurry – hotel rooms and flights are selling quickly.
