It’s out, it has some new features, it costs a bit more, and it does things a bit better than a year ago. One of the biggest points of contention, for some at least, is the new flashing LED light on the back of the phone, with the camera, which is cool, could be really useful, and yet has very limited options in terms of possible types of notifications that you could be using it for. In many says this may only be an issue for the uber-users however.

The phone has a good to great look and feel, depending on how you like those tighter edges, versus the smoother sides that came before. The quality of the camera and the images it takes are as great as you would come to expect from any Pixel Phone these days. This is one aspect where you are getting good quality for what you are buying. Our review sample came with a clear protective case too. This fits well, and, these days seems like a no brainer, for something this valuable. Pixels have been relatively to quite durable, but still making it easy to add the protective case makes sense all day long, because it can be hard to avoid the odd drop and ding. It is still a thumbs up for the case to protect the new crown jewels.

We have also been testing the new Pixel Watch 5, and this phone naturally also dovetails well with the watch too. At the same time, prior to reviewing the Pixel 11 Pro, we were using the Pixel 8 Phone with the Pixel Watch 4 and 5,  and they all played well together. Google updates often bring added functionality and compatibility between different iterations, so you should be able to chop and change with a fairly seamless experience. Overall the Pixel 11 Pro is a good, solid addition to the Google Pixel phone family.
