Take Back Mondays: Cut Out Status Meetings with Wrike’s Real-Time Reports

Wrike, the work management platform for high-performance teams, today announced that it is releasing Real-Time Reports, a new capability that will provide leaders clear, on-demand status on all work they oversee with the push of a button. Real-Time Reports solves and simplifies one of the most frustrating parts of teamwork: the ability to instantly, and easily, share accurate status information on work projects with the people who need to act on it.

Available today for Wrike Enterprise, Reports helps leadership move faster and make better decisions based on accurate, up-to-the-moment data. It also “gives hours back” to all team members by eliminating the need to manually pull together tedious status reports.

The company, which recently launched its European headquarters in Dublin, also marks a customer milestone with more than 10,000 organizations in over 120 countries using its paid product.

New in the collaboration space
A key differentiator of Wrike Real-Time Reports will be the ease with which users can customize and “slice and dice” the data with powerful filters, directly in the web app.

“The current landscape of reporting in Work Management is that you have some canned reports, supplemented by the ability to export data to Excel or exceedingly complex, slow systems,” said Wrike VP of Product Brian Thome. “We’ve brought the filtering and customizations directly into the workspace to improve usability and save time.”

Added Thome “This level of clear reporting is by far the most requested capability from executives who rely on accurate, easily accessible information to make the best decisions for their business in real-time.”

Project failures and delays cost businesses $100 million for every billion spent*. Wrike’s goal is for businesses to use Real-Time Reports to identify problems before they begin. By identifying delays or projects that are at risk, users will be able to begin corrective action immediately.

New Insights
In addition to providing new levels of visibility to executives, Reports provide immediate and actionable data in a visual format that is easy to understand.  It creates a more intelligent business platform that delivers reporting from a single system of record, and will allow organizations to uncover insights that were previously unattainable.

Give Monday back to your team
Wrike’s recent benchmark Work Management Survey 2015 of over 1400 workers across a variety of industries and jobs found that almost half (46%) of respondents said “Most” or “All” of their meetings were focused on status updates. Using Real-Time Reports would save a typical marketing team of ten at least 10-15 hours per week of status updates and account management work, effectively giving back an entire workday.

“Our platform focuses on merging the power of large-scale enterprise IT systems with clear, easy-to-use functionality that is accessible to every team,” said Andrew Filev, Founder and CEO of Wrike. “We prioritized developing Reports because it has a significant and measurable difference on our customer’s businesses, and has not been addressed well by the collaboration space.”
