Synology release new RackStation and brand new VALUE SERIES 5-bay NAS

Synlogogy have launched two brand new products today, the RackStation RS815 and the DiskStation DS1515 are  now available to purchase globally.

As the successor to the RS814, the RS815 comes with a brand new 12-inch chassis design, that is 37% shorter than its predecessor.

The RS815 can be deployed with a 2-post rack or a wall-mount server rack, and It demonstrates how uncompromising performance and functionality are achievable even within such a small footprint.

The DS1515 is the first 5-bay Value series model with a Quad-core CPU, hardware encryption engine, four Gigabit LAN ports and 2GB RAM.

The DS1515 can scale up to 15 drives with two Synology DX513 expansion kits, providing up to 120TB of raw capacity.
