Synology have announced three new models to their range including two new concepts. These are the RackStation RC18015xs+, the DiskStation DS215+, and the DiskStation DS715.
RC18015xs+ features high-availability design, next-generation snapshot technology, and massive scalability up to 180 drives.
The shared storage architecture eliminates the need for data replication over the network, in addition to drastically reducing deployment costs. RC18015xs+ and RXD1215sas deliver the secure, reliable, and superior performance storage solution for enterprises seeking business continuity and point-in-time data recovery.
As the successor of DS214+, DS215+ comes with a brand new dual core processor with hardware encryption engine, 2 Gigabit LAN ports and 1GB RAM.
DS715 is equipped with quad core CPU, hardware encryption engine, 2 Gigabit LAN ports and 2GB RAM. DS715 can scale up to 7 drives with Synology DX513, providing up to 56TB of raw capacity.
Both the DS215+ and the DS715 are backed with Synology’s 2-year limited warranty.
The RC18015xs+ and the RXD1215sas are backed with Synology’s 5-year limited warranty and Synology Replacement Services (SRS) for select regions.
