Customers are seeing the benefits of the Dell PowerEdge FX worldwide, such as a large e-commerce company in Asia that purchased more than 10,000 of FX servers over competitive solutions, while an investment management institution headquartered in the U.S. purchased hundreds to help it run its sophisticated data analysis and trading systems to better enable customers.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Modular Servers was published as Dell celebrates its 20-year anniversary providing customers its PowerEdge servers. Dell continues to gain unit share and revenue share with customer-inspired innovations such as the PowerEdge FX propelling the company forward. According to Gartner research Dell currently holds the No. 2 position in the global x86 server market.

Dell’s ability to execute and completeness of vision led to its inclusion in the visionaries’ quadrant of the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Networking.

Open Networking is inherent to Dell’s networking strategy. Dell is supporting this shift to a modern network by delivering network switches for every area of the enterprise and providing state-of-the-art service to ensure businesses can support growing bandwidth demands and address the challenges associated with scalability and network management.

Dell was early to recognize the shift in workload requirements, virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructures. In response these changes, Dell delivered innovative new fabric architectures, based on fixed form-factor switching elements that can fundamentally change the cost-structures and capabilities of data center networking.
