ShopWindow.Social is a bespoke Social Media Management provider, offering a dedicated service across all social channels. We take the time and effort needed to deliver a successful social media campaign while allowing you to concentrate on running your business. We can either supply original content to share with your followers or find the latest news stories to share with your followers, increasing your online authority. We will grow your followers and online presence which in turn, will have a positive impact on your sales. We offer clear, easy-to-understand reporting on your tailored social campaign, meaning you’ll have complete transparency at all times as well as the ability to accurately measure your Return on Investment.

How are you different?
Unlike some other Social Media Management providers, we have decided to specialise solely in the retail market, offering services tailored specifically to smaller retailers and independents. This is because we understand that every market sector is different and has its own specific needs. We have a passion for independent retail, which we want to put to good use for our clients!

Why will the company / product do well?

Not only because we have the specific skills needed to help us produce results for our target audience of smaller retail businesses, but also because our product is at a high-value price-point that allows our clients to take advantage of our offering without breaking the bank! With bespoke options from just £149+VAT a month, we believe we offer a very affordable outsourced option. Our passion for this market and our desire to help small businesses succeed combined with our honest approach and clear reporting will help us build very strong relationships with our customers – which we believe is the backbone of any successful business.

When was the company launched?

August 2016.

What have been your biggest wins to date? We have run the social media and digital marketing operations for independent retail news platform, Modern Retail ( over the last year, while preparing for the launch of Working with them has enabled us to gain huge knowledge of the retail market, and has helped us learn what works in retail and what doesn’t! We have helped them to grow their social followers from scratch, and have generated significant traffic and engagement across a variety of social channels.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are looking to help Retailers who are struggling to achieve Social Media success, whether that be through lack of digital skills, or simply not having the time to dedicate to social media marketing. By offering a low-cost outsourcing option, we can let them concentrate on the day-to-day concerns of running their stores, while we generate the results they are looking for online.

Tell us about your team?

Our strength is in our team. We are a young, energetic group of people with a strong knowledge of the retail sector and enthusiasm for Social Media. We love seeing Retailers achieve success and we enjoy our work!

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

The retail market is obviously huge, with over 180,000 retail businesses in the UK alone. We want to firmly establish ourselves as the go-to-brand for retailers who are looking for a cost-effective outsourcing solution to their social marketing requirements. In the long term, we see wider digital marketing opportunities, such as helping clients with their email marketing, web design, ecommerce and more.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Where to start?! We are Apple enthusiasts here, so love our iPhones, iPads, Mac Minis etc. But away from hardware, we have found there are so many great apps out there that are free to use and great for small businesses to take advantage of. Canva is a particular favourite of ours for graphic design – it’s so easy to use and produces really professional results. Wunderlist is a life-saving to-do-list app that works well across all devices, and Pocket is a great tool for saving bits of content from social media, the web etc to one virtual “pocket” that again can be accessed easily across all your devices.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

We love the idea of using drones for amazing videos and birds-eye view photography, so perhaps we’ll put one on the Xmas list!
