How are you different?
The recruitment industry is heavily focused on the practice of using CVs to showcase an individual’s suitability and fails to capture the achievements, skills, background and the like before interview stages. InteriMarket is solving a range of related issues through disrupting the traditional industry’s outdated methods.
InteriMarket provides global interim professionals with unique profiling capability applicable to their subject expertise through the use of video, audio and concise content. It is through their profiles that recruiters can get a better understanding of a candidate’s skills they possess on top of the “job” they perform. The current assessment and selection methods of interim professionals based on CVs is not justified and counter intuitive.
Essentially through InteriMarket want to make interim hiring, managing and networking super easy, simple, effective and innovative. Plus, we are completely free for our interim professionals for networking, collaboration and jobs applications.

Why will the company / product do well?
Simple … there is a need for the platform! With our July soft launch, we are already experiencing uplift in user volume, in our very early days.
Interim professionals are able to use the platform to find jobs, develop job-related discussions, network in groups with like-minded professionals and with our help get access to insights all for free.
Recruitment agencies can use the platform to post their available interim contract positions, scout for talent, develop relationships with the registered users and gain a better understanding of the talent pool for free, for now.
There is an experienced and innovative team behind this platform, we are committed to simplifying the most mundane and complex processes.
Where are you based?
Right now, we’re based from a flat just north of London, so the lounge is our startup pad where all the great ideas come from!
When was the company launched?
The company was officially incorporated last year; since we have spent good time in market research and validation, product development and now after developing the system past beta testing we officially had our soft launch at the beginning of July this year.

What have been your biggest wins to date?
Hands down, attracting the right team and advisors! It’s been great learning how we are hitting the right chords in so many ways as an early stage startup.
What types of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?
In the current phase, we are purely focused on interim professionals – those who are self-employed, freelancers, consultants, contractors, mirco firms (up to 10 staff/associates), etc. – looking for longer-term contract positions.
The other side to this is recruiters and organisations that hire interim professionals.

Have we mentioned how much we love our team?
Our Founder & CEO (Bhumi) has been in the recruitment industry (HR, talent management, resourcing programmes, etc.) for over 10 years; is a qualified career counsellor; has an MBA in Finance; is a featured contributor and thought leader for Biz Catalyst 360*; as well as an associate director for a couple organisations. In short, Bhumi is an influencer and entrepreneur – a simplicity hacker with love for people, change and growth.
Our Co-founder (Prashant) has over 15 years of technical experience from coding and product development to now leading cloud-based product transformations as a global product manager for an MNC. He also has a degree in Engineering and an MBA from Lancaster University. In partnership with some of his former colleagues, Prashant has co-founded an India-based charity supporting education for those less fortunate.
In addition, we have a fantastic outsourced development team, marketing consultants and other specialists, advisors and mentors that we call upon when required.
What are your long term plans for your product / company?
Our longer term plans are to innovatively build brilliant ecosystem around interim professionals and recruiters. We want InteriMarket to be the “go to” place for all interim recruitment and management needs.
